The end of a blog . . .

As you can tell, I haven't updated this in ages.  I'm not going to be using this blog anymore for posting pics, but I won't delete it until I have another site up and running.  Thanks for your patience!

Winter favorites

I love discovering things all over again with my little boy. This photo describes two firsts for him 1) playing in the snow and 2) discovering his shadow.

Polka dots and daisies

I had my first product shoot and it was really fun! The subject never wiggled or had a grumpy face, so it was easy to take some good shots :). This company makes really cute wedding invites, Christmas cards, bridesmaids baskets, etc. You can see more pics and their products here.

Rania & Clint

What a beautiful wedding! Rania and Clint really seem like they're best of friends. It was easy to shoot Ra because she looked so beautiful and is so naturally animated. I struggled a bit admist the washed out sky because I'm a sucker for bold colors and natural light, but gray days do make for good black and whites. Congrats Ra!

Harrison family pics

What a darling family! They wanted mostly traditional pics, with a few semi-candid. I tried to show some interaction while still making them "mantel-material". These kids are so cute.

Beauty Night

These are my girls! The girls in our neighborhood wanted to have a beauty night. I thought it would be a great opportunity to show them all that they're gorgeous in their own special way.

I love taking non-traditional family pics. A family reunion creates the perfect environment for great candids and showing family interaction.

South Mountain Dance

I thought I was prepared for this one since I shot their studio two years ago, but no one told me they had added a two year old class. These girls were tough to get a laugh out of! But even some of the serious shots turned out darling!

Jason's headshots

Hass is definitely a jack of all trades: Snow Shack entrepreneur; children's book writer; song writer, lead singer and guitarist in "Hassenpfeffer and the Bombdiggity"; and now actor/model. What an awesome brother.

Weddings

Kim and Clay were married at the Mt. Timpanogos temple. They had so much fun, and so did the kids!

Karen and Brandon's wedding at the Newport Beach temple. What a perfect day!
